Job Description

The Senior Director of Philanthropic Partnerships will play a key role in leading our fundraising efforts, developing and implementing strategies to secure major gifts from high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners. You will work closely with our Head of Fundraising and other senior leaders to identify new opportunities, build relationships, and steward existing partnerships.

Your expertise will be invaluable in driving growth and innovation in our fundraising efforts, ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality education to disadvantaged communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve annual targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, trusts, and corporate partners
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, leveraging your networks and research skills to uncover potential supporters
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to ensure effective communication and alignment on fundraising goals
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for creative fundraising approaches
  • Familiarity with grant-making processes, CSR initiatives, and prospect research methodologies
