Marketing Talent is a leading marketing recruitment agency, specializing in connecting top marketing talent with innovative companies. We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager - International B2B Events to join our client's team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Manager - Conferences and Awards to lead our client's events marketing efforts. As a key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-caliber marketing campaigns to promote our client's conferences and awards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies
    • Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans to increase event visibility and registration
    • Utilize a mix of channels, including email, social media, and content marketing, to maximize event exposure
  • Lead Audience Acquisition and Marketing Communications
    • Develop and implement lead-generation techniques to capture new prospects
    • Utilize data analysis to optimize marketing campaigns and improve results
  • Manage Event Websites and Marketing Materials
    • Design and maintain user-friendly event websites to maximize conversion rates
    • Develop and manage high-quality marketing materials, including sponsor materials and post-event reports
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work closely with operations and programming teams to produce marketing deliverables
    • Collaborate with product marketers to ensure event marketing aligns with overall marketing strategy

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B events marketing experience, preferably with experience in conferences and awards
  • Strong focus on audience/delegate acquisition and marketing communications
  • Ideal experience working in the B2B financial, data, or market intelligence sectors
  • Experience devising or influencing events pricing strategies is beneficial
  • Strong experience managing marketing for multiple events simultaneously, with a track record of meeting or exceeding audience acquisition targets
  • Confident use of Excel, CRM, and marketing automation platforms (SalesForce & Pardot ideally)
  • Solid experience using social media marketing (ideally LinkedIn Ads)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good eye for design and ability to produce high-quality marketing materials
