About the Role
VanRath is currently recruiting for a Personal Secretary to support a large public sector company in Antrim on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to professional staff with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Take and pass on clear and concise messages, and obtain and pass on information via telephone duties.
- Type reports, memos, letters, and forms to a high standard using a word processing system or digital dictation.
- Organize appointments for patients, arrange transport as necessary, and book interpreters.
- Manage email accounts, including sending and retrieving emails.
- Maintain and update manual records, such as preparation and maintenance of patient charts for clinics.
Requirements
- (a) 4 GCSEs to include English (Grade A*-C) or equivalent AND 1 year clerical/secretarial experience in an office environment to include the use of the Microsoft Office suite of packages OR
- (b) 2 years' clerical/secretarial experience in an office environment to include the use of the Microsoft Office suite of packages AND GCSE English Grade A*-C
About You
Applicants must possess OCR Text Processing (Business Professionals) Level 2 Award or RSA Stage II Typing/Word Processing (both parts) or equivalent. In addition, applicants must have 1 year experience in the use of ICT to include word processing, audio typing, spreadsheets, and email.
