Key Responsibilities

As a Motor Finance Underwriting Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assessing applications in line with our risk appetite, utilizing cutting-edge tools and expertise.
  • Ensuring strong performance by prioritizing quality of work and decisioning accuracy.
  • Collaborating with the underwriting team to optimize policies and processes.
  • Sharing best practices and expertise across the operational teams and wider business areas.

Candidate Requirements

We're looking for a highly motivated and analytical individual with:

  • Previous underwriting experience in the motor finance industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of FCA rulebook.
  • Effective communication and telephony skills.
  • Strong literacy and numerical skills.
  • A willingness to be developed, coached, and take on feedback.
  • A positive work ethic and can-do attitude.
