About the Role

Noble Recruiting is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the engineering function, ensuring the efficient operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reduce maintenance costs by a minimum of 10%-20%.
  • Reduce external maintenance costs by a minimum of 20%.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize reactive maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Engineering Practice (GEP) and a Safety First approach in all maintenance activities.
  • Develop and manage risk assessments for site plant and fabrication maintenance.
  • Complete root cause analyses for defects, internal and external non-conformities, or customer complaints.
  • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up-to-date and maintained in cooperation with the Health and Safety Advisor.
  • Adhere to the Plant Preventive Maintenance schedule and implement required checks and maintenance and repair where necessary.
  • Identify risks and opportunities for plant equipment and fabrics and highlight them.
  • Work closely with the Technical Manager daily and attend weekly meetings.
  • Stay up-to-date on all training and attend and implement knowledge into current and future capital projects.
  • Ensure that maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met and provide annual reporting.
  • Attend weekly management meetings with different line managers across the organization and assist with day-to-day business activities.
  • Assist the team in implementing BRCGS accreditation.
  • Implement measuring equipment calibration, utilities, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement equipment manuals and enhance SOPs accordingly.
  • Utilize excellent problem-solving skills in the most effective and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain a clean and well-maintained engineering storage or workshop.
  • Develop and maintain machinery and equipment parts requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in maintenance management, preferably in a good or manufacturing industry/setting.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, systems, and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.
