Job Title: Salesforce CRM Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce CRM Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems (New). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Salesforce applications to enhance client's CRM functionality and improve their user experience within the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement custom Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements, utilizing Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
  • Design and develop CRM workflows, ensuring seamless integration with business applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other client systems, adhering to Salesforce best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Perform administrator tasks, such as managing users, constructing data models, and automating processes using declarative tools.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience, with a strong understanding of Salesforce product knowledge.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification, with additional certifications a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Strategic view of how code should be written to serve business aims long term.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications, such as Certified Salesforce Administrator or Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • General web development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to interpret, write, and critique technical specifications.
  • Experience working with large data sets and liaising with client stakeholders to gather requirements and present solutions.
