Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our team in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. As an Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business, including monitoring client balances, managing daily payments, and reconciling transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor client balances and credit conditions to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
- Manage daily incoming and outgoing payments, adhering to strict cut-off times.
- Reconcile inbound and outbound payments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate payment and banking queries, liaising with internal teams and conveying updates to other departments.
- Cover foreign exchange positions and deliver exotic currency payments.
- Manage internal balances, including executing daily cash sweeps.
- Investigate unallocated and/or non-received funds, and support internal teams in resolving client account discrepancies.
- Communicate task status to colleagues, supervisors, and managers, escalating problems as needed.
- Adhere to internal policies, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects to maintain and improve business growth.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of processes to ensure consistent competency and meet KPIs.
- Manage caseload throughout the end-to-end process in a timely manner.
- Monitor personal performance to ensure targets and standards are met.
- Effectively find data and build MI reports from internal and external sources.
- Work flexibly in a high-performing team to achieve team goals and personal deliverables.
- Share knowledge and experience constructively as a team player.
Essential Experience:
- Articulate written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a target-driven operational environment.
- Ability to manage performance and targets in a fast-paced, pressured environment.
- Motivated, with a desire to contribute to Ebury's success.
Location:
Our office is located at St John's Place, in the heart of High Wycombe, with excellent links to London, Birmingham, and Aylesbury. The office is easily accessible by car or public transport, with regular direct links to London and other Thames Valley areas.
