Job Title: Senior Building Safety Manager

Undisclosed is seeking a Senior Building Safety Manager to lead and manage safety strategies within a local authority setting in the North West.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, implement, and manage building and fire safety strategies across the local authority's property portfolio.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including the Building Safety Act and Fire Safety Order.
  3. Provide expert guidance to senior leadership on building safety and fire prevention, ensuring proactive risk management.
  4. Lead fire risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections, addressing non-compliance and safety concerns.
  5. Coordinate cross-departmental teams to improve safety measures, policies, and practices.
  6. Oversee emergency response planning and handle critical safety issues.

Package & Benefits:

  1. Pay Rate: £690 per day (Outside IR35).
  2. Contract Type: Interim, Full-Time.
  3. Location: North West.
  4. Duration: 6+ months (with potential for extension).

Requirements:

  • Chartered status or professional qualification in a relevant field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, making informed decisions.
