The role:
An exciting opportunity is available to work for one of London's Largest Housing Associations, who are looking to appoint an additional Building Safety Manager on a permanent basis.
Part of a growing team, you will have management responsible for a small team of offers, involves actively supporting the creation of the Building Safety Case Report, essential for securing the Building Assessment Certificate for each designated property. In addition to this, you'll play a key part in upholding building safety standards through ongoing assessments. This includes reviewing maintenance and testing activities, conducting risk assessments, and evaluating fire safety protocols and structural integrity to ensure a consistently safe environment.
Key Skills and Experience:
Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, fostering genuinely cooperative approaches and shared outcomes.
Practical experience in operational building safety, with solid knowledge of active fire systems, mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, and specialised safety installations.
Highly proficient in computer use, with the ability to input and retrieve data across various management software systems.
Hold or be actively pursuing at least a Level 3 qualification in Building Safety / fire safety.
