Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated EHCP Review Coordinator to join our team at Mencap.

About the Role

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the EHCP review process for existing learners and those due to join the programme at the start of the next academic year.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring EHCPs are of good quality and completed in a timely manner in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Working closely with a range of stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of the EHCP review process.
  • Supporting the Programme Coordinator with bringing in referrals to the programme by attending transitions events, and meeting with prospective learners and families.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Professional conduct and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience of delivering against targets.
  • Experience of being involved in an EHCP review process.
  • Experience of working with young SEND learners.
  • A-C/9-4 English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent).
  • Good time management and planning skills.
