Job Title: Sunday Sales Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sunday Sales Assistant. As a key member of our shop team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality retail experience, managing stock, and promoting our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers
  • Manage stock levels, including receiving, storing, and displaying products
  • Maximise sales and promote Gift Aid to customers
  • Maintain the appearance of the shop, including cleaning and tidying
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Literate and numerate, with basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire regulations
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of stock (up to 10kgs)
  • Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles is an advantage
  • Flexible approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
