Job Title: Sunday Sales Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sunday Sales Assistant. As a key member of our shop team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality retail service, managing stock, and promoting our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a welcoming shopping experience for customers
  • Manage stock levels, including receiving, storing, and displaying products
  • Maximise sales and promote Gift Aid to customers
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and tidy shop environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
  • Literate and numerate, with basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire regulations
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of stock (up to 10kgs)
  • Previous experience of working or managing a retail shop is an advantage
  • A flexible approach to your job is essential
