Job Summary

We are seeking a Sunday Sales Assistant to join our team in our Thatcham store. As a Sunday Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a quality retail service, managing stock, displaying goods, and maintaining the appearance of the shop. You will also be expected to maximise sales and promote Gift Aid to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers
  • Manage stock levels, including receiving, storing, and displaying merchandise
  • Maintain the appearance of the shop, including cleaning and tidying
  • Maximise sales by promoting products and services to customers
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Handle and lift bags of stock (up to 10kgs.)

About You

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will have excellent customer service skills, be literate and numerate, and have a basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire regulations. Previous experience of working in a retail environment would be an advantage.
