Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with leaseholders and handle related queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure leasehold services are delivered efficiently and effectively, meeting the needs of leaseholders and the organization.
- Process lease extensions and deal with Right to Buy applications, providing clear guidance and support to leaseholders.
- Carry out consultations in accordance with Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act, ensuring compliance and transparency.
- Provide expert advice on service charges and major works, helping leaseholders understand their responsibilities and obligations.
- Work collaboratively with the property team to deliver excellent service, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive success.
- Support the implementation of leasehold policy and procedures, ensuring consistency and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Participate in property management meetings and contribute to team objectives, helping to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
A successful Leasehold Officer should have a solid understanding of leasehold management within the not-for-profit sector, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to build strong relationships with leaseholders, colleagues, and stakeholders, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
