As a Chef, you will be responsible for meal preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals that meet their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for approximately 60+ people per day
- Cater for staff meals, guests, visitors, and relatives of residents
- Stock rotation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Ensure COSHH standards are exceeded and HACCP records are completed
- Level 2 Food Safety Qualification
- Commercial cooking experience
- Competent in IT software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene legislation and its application
- Extensive training and continual personal development
- Meals provided while on duty in our care homes
- Free initial DBS check
- Free parking (subject to availability)
- An Employee Assistance Programme offering 24-hour support for staff and their immediate family members
