About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Employability Practitioner to join our team at Southdowns Work & Wellbeing Service in West Sussex.

This role will involve providing tailored support for individuals accessing treatment for mental health issues, in partnership with the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team. You will work collaboratively with the Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust to ensure seamless integration of services.

You will conduct 1-1 sessions and group work to empower individuals to achieve employment goals, as well as develop and maintain relationships with local employers and stakeholders to facilitate job opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in employability support or a related field, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote and community-based setting.

Working Arrangements:

This is a £32,000 per annum position. The role will involve some travel and flexibility to meet the needs of the service. You will be based in West Sussex but will also have the opportunity to work remotely and in community settings.
