Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Overview
Gray Healthcare is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Clinical Team. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work with individuals with complex needs, providing evidence-based assessment and intervention to support their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct holistic Occupational Therapy Assessments using the MOHOST, Screening Tools, and Activity Analysis
- Set goals and plan interventions with individuals and their teams
- Deliver creative interventions using evidence-based practices and approaches
- Evaluate the efficacy of interventions
- Manage a caseload of approximately 15 individuals
- Contribute to Multi-Disciplinary Team discussions to promote collaborative working and improved quality of life
Requirements and Skills
- Relevant experience in Mental Health, Learning Disability, Complex Needs, Autism, and/or Acquired Brain Injury
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a relevant role
- Understanding of Trauma-Informed Care
- Knowledge of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to demonstrate effective self-management, including time management, organisation, planning, and problem-solving
- Driver's license and access to a car
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including overnight stays
