Service Delivery Manager

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our Repairs Team in the South West area. This is a permanent, full-time role working 39 hours per week (Monday - Friday).
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of operatives to deliver programmed works in our customers' homes. This will involve efficiently managing operative productivity and work quality, monitoring progress through quality audits, and ensuring the necessary financial controls are in place.
Additionally, the Service Manager will be responsible for managing approved subcontractors' performance and compliance with contractual agreements, monitoring operative vehicle stock, and managing materials in line with legislative standards and company guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of building maintenance, Decent Homes standards, and safety legislation, as well as experience of leading, managing, developing, and motivating operational teams. They will also have excellent oral and written communications skills and a full UK clean driving licence.
In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive salary of £42,275, 27 days' holiday + bank holidays + buy extra holiday + increases with length of service, and a range of other benefits including a healthcare cashback plan, pension contributions, and an employee assistance programme.
This position will require a basic DBS check, which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.
