Established Scottish-born company seeks a Cloud Support/Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. Based in Edinburgh, this role offers a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home per week.

As a key member of the cross-functional R&D style team, you will be responsible for managing hybrid cloud setups, migrations, and other areas of cloud system support/admin/monitoring. Your expertise in Azure-based technical solution delivery will be essential in driving the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage hybrid cloud setups, migrations, and other areas of cloud system support/admin/monitoring
  • Operate as a key go-to Cloud SME and contribute to planning/improvements as well as relevant projects
  • Participate in a cross-functional R&D style team including working with other Cloud specialists, DevOps personnel, Engineering Managers, and more
  • Bring new ideas to the table and help enhance existing offerings
  • Offer 3rd Line Support around Cloud-related issues and barriers

Requirements:

  • Previous background in roles such as Cloud Engineer or similar, ideally having progressed from a Support/Infrastructure background, covering Cloud Engineering, SD networking, IAM, and other relevant areas
  • Skills and knowledge across Microsoft 365 and preferably E5, Intune, PowerShell, Entra ID, and knowledge of SaaS/PaaS/IaaS practices, along with some basic scripting for automation purposes
