About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional candidate to fill this key position, responsible for architecting and developing scalable, high-performance data pipelines using cloud-native solutions (AWS, GCP). This individual will spearhead initiatives to enhance and sustain our data infrastructure, ensuring steadfast and stable data flow to support various teams within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Scalable Data Pipelines: Utilize cloud-native services and technologies to build efficient and secure data pipelines that meet the needs of our growing user base.
  • Enhance Data Infrastructure: Lead initiatives to improve and maintain our data infrastructure, ensuring data flows smoothly and efficiently across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineers, data analysts, and ML engineers to develop solutions that align with business needs, performance, and compliance.
  • Apply Advanced Software Engineering Principles: Build and maintain services that are secure, efficient, and future-proof by applying advanced software engineering principles.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Deep Expertise in Software Engineering: Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages, along with a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
  • Cloud Services Experience: Proficient in utilizing cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, paired with a comprehension of cloud-native architectural principles.
  • Stream Processing Technologies: Demonstrated experience in developing and enhancing data flow processes through the use of technologies like Kafka, Apache Beam, Airflow, and comparable streaming platforms.
  • Database Knowledge: Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases, with a solid understanding of data modeling and query optimization.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in verbal and written exchanges, capable of collaborating efficiently with diverse teams.
