Data Engineer Specialist

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer Specialist to join our team at Sparta Global in Edinburgh. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot complex data pipelines for our clients in the financial services sector.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of commercial or internship experience in software or data engineering. They will possess strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or similar languages and be proficient in data visualization, cloud services, and big data technologies. A strong understanding of data pipeline design, testing, and debugging is essential.
You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. This may involve relocating to different locations across the UK after remote training. We offer flexible working arrangements and a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of £30,000-£40,000 depending on experience, plus benefits such as 20 days annual leave, bank holidays, and an extra day off for your birthday.
