We are seeking ambitious Maths Graduates to join our team as Maths Graduate Teaching Assistants in a supportive Secondary School in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and build a strong foundation for a career in teaching.

About the Role

As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced Maths Teachers to provide in-class support, intervention sessions, revision classes, and catch-up classes. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in extra-curricular Maths activities and develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and sociable Maths department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-class support to Maths Teachers and students
  • Deliver intervention sessions and revision classes to support student progress
  • Assist with catch-up classes and extra-curricular Maths activities
  • Develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic Maths department
Requirements

We are looking for Maths Graduates who have obtained a minimum of a 2:1 degree classification and have strong academic performance in GCSE and A-Level examinations. While experience as a Maths Tutor or in a child-centred role is advantageous, it is not essential. We welcome talented Maths Graduates who are looking to gain experience for the first time.

We offer a competitive salary, paid weekly on a PAYE basis, and the opportunity to discuss progressive routes towards QTS from September 2024. You will also have the chance to build an invaluable foundation of experience and knowledge prior to starting your Teacher Training.
