Maths Graduate Mentor Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Maths Graduate to join our team as a Maths Graduate Mentor in a well-regarded secondary school in Croydon, South London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a maths-based degree holder to gain first-hand experience in a classroom environment, support students, and explore a path into teaching.

The successful candidate will assist students in their studies and exam preparation, leading sessions and using engaging resources to help students grasp concepts.

As a Graduate Maths Mentor, you will work with students of all abilities, helping them to reach their personal academic goals and prepare them for their futures.

The school's focus on increasing the number of future Russell Group alumni makes this a crucial role in guiding students towards success.

Many previous Graduate Maths Mentors have successfully transitioned into qualified teachers through paid teacher training or PGCEs.

This is a full-time, long-term position with a competitive salary of £500-£560 per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting Maths across KS3, KS4, and KS5
  2. Working with students of all abilities to help them reach their academic goals
  3. Leading sessions and using engaging resources to help students grasp concepts
  4. Participating in a tailored development scheme to expand your understanding of education
  5. Working in a collaborative environment with experienced teachers and support staff
