Maths Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths Graduate to join our team as a Maths Teaching Assistant. As a Maths Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their Maths education, helping them to build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in-class, providing individualized attention and guidance as needed
  • Lead small group intervention sessions, focusing on specific Maths concepts and skills
  • Deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions, helping students to overcome challenges and achieve their goals
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Maths lesson plans, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective Maths education program
Requirements:
  • Maths degree or equivalent qualification
  • Strong understanding of Maths concepts and skills, particularly in areas such as algebra, geometry, and calculus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Passion for Maths education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
