Lead Physics Teacher and Department Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physics Teacher and Department Head to join our team at EdEx. This is a permanent, full-time position with the opportunity for career advancement and professional growth.
About the Role:
As a Physics Teacher and Department Head, you will be responsible for leading our physics department and teaching key stage 4 and 5 physics. You will have autonomy over your teaching practices and be supported by a close-knit team with a strong focus on development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach key stage 4 and 5 physics
* Lead the physics department and develop curriculum plans
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve school goals
* Contribute to the development of oracy across the curriculum
* Support the pastoral care of students
Requirements:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong academic record and excellent teaching skills
* Ability to lead and manage a department
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
