**About the Role:**

We are seeking an exceptional Physics Teacher and Head of Department to join our Science team at EdEx. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of science education in our school.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Teach KS4 & KS5 Physics with autonomy over the curriculum
  • Lead the Physics department and provide support to colleagues
  • Manage TLR opportunities for department leaders
  • Contribute to the development of oracy across the curriculum

**Requirements:**

  • UK QTS or in the process of gaining
  • Strong academics across the board (Degree, A Levels, GCSEs)
  • Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
