EdEx – Education Recruitment is seeking a skilled Physics Department Head to lead and grow Physics throughout the school. This role will consist of specialising in KS4 & KS5 Physics only, working alongside 2 other Physics Teachers, and leading by example.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Physics teaching and leadership, with experience in inspiring and motivating students. The salary for this position is £46,571 - £59,135 per annum, plus a £10,000 head of department allowance.

This is a permanent and full-time contract, starting in January 2025. Located in the Borough of Westminster, the school is well-invested in the education sector, setting new teaching practices and training staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and growing Physics throughout the school
  • Specialising in KS4 & KS5 Physics only
  • Working alongside 2 other Physics Teachers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field
  • Teaching certification
  • Leadership experience in Physics teaching
