Pharmacy Assistant Role at Paydens Group

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Paydens Group. As a vital member of our pharmacy operations, you will play a key role in supporting our pharmacists and delivering exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Contribute to the pharmacy team by maintaining an organized and efficient workflow, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Manage inventory by organizing, stocking, and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceuticals, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize computer systems for processing prescriptions, managing stock levels, and handling customer queries, demonstrating proficiency in pharmacy software systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • A foundation of pharmacy knowledge, with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and safety in all pharmacy operations.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in pharmacy software systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Outstanding communication traits, with the ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
