This position is crucial in assisting our pharmacy operations and providing exceptional customer service.
Your Role as a Pharmacy Support Specialist
As an essential member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring precision and compliance with legal standards. Delivering outstanding customer service, making sure all patients feel acknowledged, supported, and valued. Contributing to the pharmacy team by maintaining an organised and efficient workflow. Managing inventory by organising, stocking, and safeguarding the quality of pharmaceuticals. Utilizing computer systems for processing prescriptions, overseeing stock levels, and addressing customer inquiries. Keeping a clean and orderly pharmacy environment.Who Are We Looking For?
The ideal candidate will possess:
A foundational understanding of pharmacy practices, with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating warmth, empathy, and patience. A meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and safety of all pharmacy operations. Strong collaborative skills, thriving in a team-oriented work environment. Proficiency in computer usage, comfortable with learning and employing various pharmacy software systems. Exceptional communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and the initiative to adapt swiftly in a busy setting.If you are beginning your career in pharmacy or seeking a new opportunity and have a passion for healthcare, we provide comprehensive training and support to empower you in this role.
Working Hours & Benefits:
This position offers a schedule designed to support work-life balance with the following hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, with flexibility required for Saturday 8:30am - 1pm 1 in 5. Please note this is a temporary role. Ensure availability for these hours before applying.
