Job Title: Dispenser

Valley Pharmacy is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dispenser to join their team. As a Dispenser, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality healthcare service to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Pharmacist in preparing prescriptions and ensuring accurate dispensing of medication.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering patients' questions and concerns about their medications under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
  • Offer patients health information and education related to their medication, promoting healthy habits and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate electronic patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Manage stock levels, including ordering, checking, and shelving, to maintain a well-organized pharmacy environment.
  • Process over-the-counter sales and handle customer inquiries and advice in-store and over the phone.
  • Monitor the prescription-filling process to ensure compliance with regulations and pharmacy policies.
  • Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks and paperwork.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • High level of organization and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for pharmacy and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Experience:
  • At least 1 year of dispensing experience (preferably NVQ2 qualified).
Working Hours:

4 part-time vacancies available, with varying hours to suit different candidates.
