Dispenser

Valley Pharmacy is looking for an energetic, courteous and committed individual to join the team as a Pharmacy Dispenser. You will be working in a thriving and bustling environment, assisting the Pharmacy Manager to provide a friendly, efficient, confidential and professional healthcare service to the local community.

There are 4 part-time vacancies available for this Job

**The role will include**
- Assisting the Pharmacist in preparing prescriptions
- Giving great customer service and answering patients questions about their medications under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Providing patients with health information and education relating to their medication
- Maintaining electronic patient information
- Dealing with patients queries, & advice both in-store and on the phone
- Managing stock (including ordering, checking off stock, putting on shelf)
- Making over the counter sales
- Monitoring the prescription-filling process to ensure compliance to relevant regulations and pharmacy policies
- Assisting the pharmacy team with any admin/paperwork required
- Assisting the pharmacy team with delivering on Pharmacy Services

**Experience**

You will have the following:

- Dispensing experience of at least 1 year (preferred)
- Qualified to NVQ2 (preferred)

**Pay**

£12.00-£13.00 per hour, based on experience.

**Expected hours**

Vacancy 1 (30 per week) - Monday-Wednesday 7.30am-5.30pm
Vacancy 2 (24 per week) - Thursday 7.30am-5.30pm; Friday 7.30am-5.30pm; Saturday 9.00am-1.00pm
Vacancy 3 (50 per week) - Monday-Friday 7.30am-5.30pm
Vacancy 4 (50 per week) - Tuesday 7.30am-11.30am; Thursday 7.30am-11.30am; Fri 7.30am-11.30am
