This position is crucial in assisting our pharmacy operations and providing exceptional customer service.
Your Role as a Pharmacy Support Specialist
As an essential member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring meticulous accuracy and compliance with regulations. Delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring that all patients feel acknowledged, supported, and valued. Contributing to the pharmacy team by maintaining an organised and efficient workflow. Managing inventory by organising, stocking, and ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical products. Utilizing computer systems for processing prescriptions, managing inventory levels, and addressing customer inquiries. Keeping the pharmacy environment clean and orderly.Who Are We Looking For?
The ideal candidate will possess:
A foundational understanding of pharmacy practices, with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating warmth, empathy, and patience. A strong attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and safety of all pharmacy operations. Effective teamwork skills, thriving in a collaborative work environment. Proficiency in computer systems, comfortable with learning and using various pharmacy software. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the initiative to adapt quickly in a busy setting.If you are beginning your career in pharmacy or seeking a new opportunity and have a passion for healthcare, we provide comprehensive training and support to empower you in this role.
Working Hours & Benefits:
This position offers a schedule designed to promote work-life balance with the following hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, with flexibility required for Saturday 8:30am - 1pm 1 in 5. Please note this is a temporary role. Ensure your availability for these hours before applying.
