Job Title: Sample Registration Assistant

SGS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Registration Assistant to join our team in Ellesmere Port. As a Sample Registration Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely registration of samples received from customers into our laboratory system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register samples into the laboratory system in an accurate and timely manner
  • Liaise with customer service on a daily basis to resolve sample queries and deviating samples
  • Create customer references in the laboratory system and ensure all customer equipment data is correct and up-to-date
  • Print customer asset labels for registration and mobile app
  • Ensure accurate entry and receipt of incoming samples onto Labware, adhering to the correct analysis and printing labels as required
  • Distribute sample information to the appropriate departments as needed
  • Respond to customer requests and process samples in accordance with these requests
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a high-volume submission environment with tight deadlines
  • Previous data entry/admin experience
  • GCSE in Science, Mathematics, and English grades A to C or equivalent
  • Good communication and organizational skills
