Job Title: Sample Registration Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Registration Assistant to join our team at SGS. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for registering samples received from customers into our laboratory system in a timely and accurate manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To register samples received from customers into the relevant laboratory system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • To effectively liaise with customer service on a daily basis to resolve sample queries and deviating samples, providing exceptional customer service.
  • To create customer references in the laboratory system and ensure all customer equipment data is up-to-date.
  • To print customer asset labels for registration and mobile app purposes.
  • To ensure accurate entry and receipt of incoming samples onto Labware, adhering to the correct analysis and printing labels as required.
  • To distribute sample information to the appropriate departments as needed, informing the German team of samples received for processing.
  • To respond to customer requests and process samples in accordance with these requests, providing support to customers where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a high-volume submission or fast-paced environment, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Previous data entry or administrative experience.
  • GCSE in Science, Mathematics, and English grades A to C or equivalent.
  • Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
