About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Adults Team at Cheshire West and Chester Council. As a Social Worker, you will play a critical role in supporting adults at risk and their families/advocates, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with adults at risk and their families/advocates to identify and assess their needs and risks.
  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding plans to ensure the safety and well-being of adults at risk.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding adults.
  • Provide high-quality, person-centred social care to adults at risk, ensuring their rights and dignity are respected.
Requirements
  • CQSW/CSS/Diploma/Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Social Work England Registration.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with adults at risk and their families/advocates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of the Care Act and safeguarding policies and procedures.
