Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Kronospan Tortosa Plant. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading activities that guarantee safety and health in our plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead activities that guarantee safety and health in plants.
  • Joint prevention service.
  • Health and safety committee.
  • Audits.
  • Prepare plant plans related to Health and Safety.
  • Carry out the planning of preventive activity.
  • Make the plant emergency plan.
  • Carry out training planning in occupational risk prevention.
  • Prepare the Department's annual budget based on the planned prevention plans.
  • Management of the necessary documentation regarding risk prevention and occupational health.
  • Development of standards and procedures regarding risk prevention and occupational health.
  • Coordination and supervision of the activities of the personnel of your Department.
  • Manage budget control of your department.
  • Approval of your Department's purchases.
  • Coordination of subcontracted companies.
  • Maintenance and updating of management records and indicators of your department.
  • Preparation of periodic reports on the department's activities.
  • Design, document and deliver training actions on occupational risk prevention.
  • Manage purchase orders.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Higher Technician degree in PRL and high level English skills, as many subcontractors are foreigners. Knowledge of industrial safety is essential, and experience in factories with a high volume of employees is a plus.
