About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) professional to join our team at Mondelēz International. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the HS&E agenda and driving a positive safety culture within our Chirk Plant in North Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HS&E strategies and plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Lead the HS&E team and provide coaching and support to site leadership and employees to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
  • Manage the delivery of HS&E activities, including behavioral safety and engagement, and ensure compliance with Mondelez safety standards and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and the legal department to ensure ongoing compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive the implementation of Integrated Lean 6 Sigma tools to improve safety culture and performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Health, Safety and Environment Practitioner in a manufacturing or commercial environment.
  • Strong people management experience and ability to coach and develop employees.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Health and Safety audits and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
