Sales Development Representative

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Travis Perkins. As an Area Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service in the South West region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reactivate dormant and low-spending accounts, and identify new business opportunities in your allocated area.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and branch teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with your Regional Sales Manager to set and achieve sales targets, and develop a plan to maximize sales and profit growth.
- Conduct regular site visits and meetings with customers to build trust, understand their needs, and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with the wider network team to share best practices, knowledge, and expertise to drive sales success across the region.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the merchanting industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and branch teams.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team to achieve sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Full UK driving license with over a year's driving experience, and a clean driving record.
