Senior Investor Relations Specialist, UK Private Equity Fund

A dynamic and challenging role has become available within a highly respected UK growth and lower mid-market private equity fund. As an Investor Relations professional, you will play a crucial part in establishing and building their Investor Relations function from the ground up. This exciting opportunity involves planning and pre-marketing their next fund launching in 2025.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with senior partners to get to know the investor base and contribute to a proactive outreach programme to existing and potential investors. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing investor materials: fund collateral, fundraising documents, client pitches, and presentations.
- Managing diligence processes through to investor onboarding.
- Ensuring all investor requests are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Developing relationships with third-party distributors (placement agents and introducers).
- Engaging professionally and collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including investment professionals, finance, and operations.
- Leading internal and external communication, including PR, website, and investor materials.
- Driving future fundraising efforts – from strategy development through to documentation preparation and investor outreach.
- Leading agenda and content development for key annual events – AGMs, LPACs, Advisory Board meetings.
- Taking responsibility for ongoing investor queries and requests.
The ideal candidate will have previous relevant private markets experience in Investor Relations at a GP or placement agent. Key requirements include:
- Demonstrable ability to build LP relationships and broaden investor networks.
- Exposure to or knowledge of private equity strategies is highly desirable.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to take ownership and drive projects in a disciplined manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
- A desire to become part of a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment with a greater upwards trajectory.
- The ability to demonstrate dynamism and a collegiate, hands-on approach.
This exciting opportunity comes with a competitive salary package, estimated to be in the range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
