About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Therapy Instructor to join our Community Therapy Team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Therapy Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality therapy interventions to patients in their own homes, working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy interventions to patients under the supervision of senior staff, including physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
  • Work with patients independently in the community, usually within their own homes.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new therapy programs and services.
Requirements
  • GCSE English and maths or equivalent.
  • NVQ or equivalent level of knowledge.
  • Previous experience working with client groups, particularly those with physical or mental disabilities.
  • Previous experience working within therapy, preferably in an NHS trust or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use initiative.
  • Ability to plan and manage own time effectively.
  • Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
