Job Summary

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is seeking a Consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in shaping the developments of our well-established unit and supporting the East of England CF network and regional respiratory services.

Main Duties

The successful appointee will provide inpatient and outpatient care for patients with respiratory disease. You will be responsible for managing specialized cystic fibrosis and respiratory work, and will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine who has completed their national sub-speciality grid/SPIN/equivalent training in paediatric respiratory medicine. You will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality care, and will be able to demonstrate your ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Criteria

  • Full GMC registration
  • MRCPCH or equivalent
  • On the specialist register (CCT in paediatrics OR Equivalent) at or within 6 months of the AAC

Desirable Criteria

  • Higher degree such as MD, MSc or PhD
  • CCT in respiratory paediatrics

Experience

We are looking for a Consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine who has at least 2 years of experience in paediatric respiratory training or experience in a tertiary centre. You will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality care, and will be able to demonstrate your ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
