The role of Assistant Client Engagement Manager in our Outsourced Accountancy Team is a fantastic opportunity for an accountant near the start of their career to expand their knowledge of accounting and financial reporting. You will work on a portfolio of clients in different industries and locations, gaining a full understanding of all issues facing SMEs in terms of VAT, Corporation Tax, and financial reporting requirements.

You will be exposed to FCA regulated businesses and build knowledge of tax planning opportunities that exist for SMEs and their owners. Our team is committed to supporting our clients in achieving their goals, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting software packages, including Xero and DEXT, and be proficient in preparing financial statements, corporation tax returns, management accounts, VAT returns, and FCA returns. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team on urgent issues.
