Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Domiciliary Care Director to lead our domiciliary care services in Suffolk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, meeting all regulatory standards, and leading a dedicated team to deliver excellent service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver and maintain high standards of care, tailored to individual needs and preferences.
  2. Ensure compliance with company policies, CQC regulations, and best practice standards.
  3. Oversee development and review of care plans and risk assessments.
  4. Promote dignity, respect, and independence for service users.
  5. Lead safeguarding efforts to protect vulnerable clients.

Leadership and Staff Management
  1. Recruit, train, and manage care staff, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  2. Supervise and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and high morale.
  3. Schedule and manage care visits, ensuring adequate staffing at all times.
  4. Ensure staff training compliance and promote professional development.

Regulatory Compliance and Auditing
  1. Maintain CQC registration and ensure a rating of "Good" or above in all inspections.
  2. Conduct regular audits and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  3. Stay updated on relevant legislation and guidelines in domiciliary care.

Financial and Operational Management
  1. Oversee budgets, invoicing, and billing to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  2. Develop strategies for business growth, including increasing referrals and expanding services.
  3. Contribute to the service's business plan and performance targets.

Client and Family Relations
  1. Build strong relationships with service users and their families, maintaining open communication.
  2. Address any concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
  3. Regularly review care packages to ensure client satisfaction and quality of care.
  4. Actively promote the service within the community to build trust and reputation.

Health and Safety
  1. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control and risk assessments.
  2. Train staff in emergency protocols, safeguarding, and health and safety practices.

Salary and Benefits: £32,000 per annum (DOE) plus bonuses and benefits package.
