Job Role: Reserve Traffic Office Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Reserve Traffic Office Administrator. As a key member of our fleet operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the Distribution Management System is up-to-date and data is correctly input daily.
  • Debrief drivers at the end of their duty and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Issue vehicle keys and logbooks in line with Royal Mail standards.
  • Download digital tacho cards in accordance with Royal Mail policy.
  • Conduct daily debriefs with drivers and pass on any unresolved issues to the shift manager.
  • Ensure planned maintenance is carried out for vehicles and that the maintenance board and vehicle files are kept up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Organized, independent, and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Able to input data to set deadlines while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Previous experience in an administrator's role is preferred.
  • Holding a full UK driving license with less than 6 penalty points for driving up to 3.5t vehicle (van) is required.
