About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced mental health professional to join our Perinatal Team as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women affected by perinatal mental health issues, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent services and promote recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess and manage service users within the community, providing psychological wellbeing interventions and supporting individuals to achieve their goals.
  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the effective provision of perinatal mental health services and promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
  • To provide clinical supervision to individuals or groups, as professionally appropriate, and to facilitate others in the team to develop competence.
  • To promote social inclusion, community access, and participation through the provision of patient care.
  • To be committed to and take a lead role in activities integral to the Trust's Quality Improvement System.
Requirements
  • Current professional registration with an approved professional body.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Key skills in literacy, numeracy, and IT, with a post-graduate qualification in a relevant area.
  • Significant experience working with people with mental ill health in a care environment, with leadership or management experience.
