We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced mental health professional to join our Perinatal Mental Health Team as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to women experiencing perinatal mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage a caseload of women experiencing perinatal mental health issues, providing evidence-based interventions and support.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including midwives, health visitors, and mental health colleagues, to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Develop and implement care plans, taking into account the individual needs and circumstances of each woman.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members, promoting their professional development and well-being.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to perinatal mental health care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
- Current professional registration with an approved professional body.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Key skills in literacy, numeracy, and IT (Q level 2 or equivalent).
- Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area.
- Significant experience working with people with mental ill health in a care environment.
- Providing clinical supervision to individuals or groups as professionally appropriate.
- Leadership or management experience.
- Significant experience working with people with mental ill health in a community environment.
