About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced mental health professional to join our Perinatal Mental Health Team as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to women experiencing perinatal mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage service users within the community, providing psychological wellbeing interventions and promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team, partners, carers, relatives, other services, and agencies to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
  • Provide clinical supervision to individuals or groups, as professionally appropriate, and facilitate others in the team to develop competence.
  • Act as lead professional or care co-ordinator as appropriate, promoting social inclusion, community access, and participation.
  • Contribute to the effective provision of Perinatal Mental Health Services to a caseload of pre-conceptual, pregnant, or postnatal women.
Requirements
  • Current professional registration with an approved professional body.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Key skills in literacy, numeracy, and IT (Q level 2 or equivalent).
  • Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area.
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, with a working pattern of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Hybrid working is supported, and the post holder will be required to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
