Perinatal Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner to join our 0-25 Service team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing targeted emotional wellbeing support for the 0-25 Healthy Child Programme, contributing to the Knowsley Family Hubs offer.
Main Responsibilities- Develop, contribute, and influence the regional antenatal offer and perinatal mental health support in collaboration with partner agencies.
- Work as part of the 0-25 service supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and contributing to the Knowsley Family Hubs offer.
- Involve in a range of public health activities within a geographical area, to include individuals, groups, and communities.
- Collaborate with other agencies to meet the needs of vulnerable children and families.
You will be joining a proactive and skilled-mixed team working together to deliver the Healthy Child Programme. As part of the 0-25 Service, you will be working closely with other local statutory, health, and voluntary agencies to provide accessible, person-centered packages of care in response to individual and local need.

- Experience of working with child protection/vulnerable adults' legislation/procedures
- Experience of leading on planning, implementation, and evaluation in project management.
- Experience of integrated working
- Strong working knowledge and experience of working with the perinatal mental health population.
- 1st Level Nurse/midwife
- Bachelor's degree with honours (e.g., BA/BSc Hons) or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Post graduate qualification relevant to specialism or equivalent experience
- Mentorship qualification Level 7
- Leadership qualification Level 7
