Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clinical Coordinator & NHS Pathway Coordinator at Nuffield Health Oxford. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of patient referrals, bookings, and care pathways within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Medical Secretaries and Consultants to manage and update the availability of consultants for online bookings.
  • Coordinate and oversee the online booking process for self-pay and private patients, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for queries related to online bookings, providing clear and prompt communication to patients and staff.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any booking issues, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for patients and consultants.
  • Regularly review and update consultant availability and booking slots based on demand and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and IT teams to ensure the online booking system is user-friendly, accurate, and up to date.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with Medical Secretaries, Consultants, and other hospital staff.
  • Experience in healthcare administration, bookings management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using online booking systems and hospital administration software.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality patient experience.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
