At CV-Library, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant at an outstanding specialist school for children with social and emotional mental health needs in Oxford.
About the Role- This is a full-time position starting ASAP, requiring a commitment of 5 days per week.
- You will work closely with therapists and psychologists based on-site at the school to provide high-quality support to children aged 4-11 who require ongoing assistance to manage their behaviour and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement strategies to support pupils with SEMH needs in collaboration with therapists and psychologists.
- To contribute to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes positive relationships and behaviours.
- To assist in the development and delivery of lessons and activities tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils.
Requirements:
- A graduate degree in psychology, counselling, criminology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Resilience and confidence to work with challenging behaviour.
